Pass Your Exam - What is Testing Out?
Testing out (Prior Learning Assessment - PLA) is a way to earn college credit without attending a traditional college class—perfect for anyone who wants to save time and money on their degree. If students don’t want to spend an entire semester in a classroom, they can pass a single exam and earn the same credit as they would from doing a semester’s worth of lectures, homework, term papers, projects, and exams.
Advanced Placement Exams are an example of PLA that is commonly used to award college credit for high school students. The College Level Examination Program (CLEP), DANTES Subject Standardized Test (DSST), Excelsior College Nursing Exam (ECE), and the UExcel exam are also forms of PLA.
SpeedyPrep test prep prepares you to pass the CLEP, DSST, ECE, & UExcel Exam. SpeedyPrep offers a strong guarantee if you do not pass and you have reached 90% on your progress bar (CLEP & DSST) or scored a 90 or higher on your exit exam (ECE & UEcel) SpeedyPrep will refund your money.

Improve Your Grades
Prior Learning Assessment (PLA- CLEP, DSST, ECE, & UExcel) students have higher GPAs than non-PLA students. According to the College Board - *CLEP students have significantly higher cumulative GPAs than non-CLEP students when controlling for demographics and prior achievement. Students who earn course credit through CLEP perform as well as or better in sequent or subsequent courses than their non-CLEP classmates who took the introductory course at the institution.
High School, Homeschool, College, & Nursing students can also use SpeedyPrep test prep to improve their grades. For example, a student that struggles with math can use SpeedyPrep to study and gain understanding, the progress bar allows the student to track comprehension.
Many Homeschool parents use SpeedyPrep to create their own advanced placement program. For example, a student can study for History and the parent can document the course as high school credit and once the student successfully passed the exam they now have college credit.
Students who have attempted an AP exam and failed can use SpeedyPrep to redeem those credits by studying for the exam they failed with SpeedyPrep and then taking the correlating exam.
